We all have a story to tell.

Hey, I’m Kaitlind.
And It’s a Mom Thing is my heart project - with you in mind.
If you’ve landed here, chances are you’re carrying a lot.
The schedules. The emotions. The questions. The invisible load.
And maybe, like I did, you’ve wondered: “Is anyone else feeling this?”
Welcome. You’re in the right place.
What This Is (and What It’s Not)
This isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” mom group or some picture-perfect brand.
This is a movement - real, raw, and rising.
It’s about creating the community we all wish we had when life got loud, messy, beautiful, and hard.. all at once.
Motherhood is wild. And yet, somehow, we’re expected to carry the world while feeling like we’re the only ones falling apart.
Not here.
The “Why” Behind It All
I’ve been through a lot - more than I could ever fit into this page.
From rebuilding after toxic relationships and walking through trauma..
to sleepless nights, single mom seasons, health scares, loss, and starting over with nothing.
But also?
I’ve laughed until I cried.
I’ve fought like hell to protect joy for my kids.
I’ve built something beautiful from the ground up, all while holding babies on my hip and a dream in my chest.
That’s where It’s a Mom Thing was born.
From the ache and the awe.
From the belief that mothers are not just essential.. we’re exceptional.
And we deserve more than just “getting by.”

Where We’re Going
We’re not just dreaming about a better world for our kids.
We’re building it. Right now. Page by page, day by day.
Because real change? It doesn’t start in politics or programs.
It starts in the heart of a mother who decides to do things differently.
If that’s you, welcome.
You’re not alone here. You’re not “too much.” You’re not behind.
You’re seen. You’re strong. You’re exactly who this was made for.
So take a breath, mama.
We’re in this together now.
Let’s rise. Let’s rebuild. Let’s rewrite the story—together.
After all… It’s a Mom Thing.
“Change doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. We believe the quiet, steady work of healing ourselves, nurturing our homes, and showing up in our communities - that is how the world really changes.”
